The literary event “Pontyizm. The last sermon” will be held at Shcherbenko Art Centre on February 26th at 19.00.

The event will consist of several parts, which suggest an unusual view on Oleksandr Mykhed’s texts from the book “Pontyizm” and will give a chance to have the first acquaintance with the new novel “Astra”, which appeared in print in “Annette Publisher Antonenko”.
The event will bring together the “Dakh” theatre actor Roman Yasinovskyi, the director and the winner of the International Film Festival “Molodist” Oleksandr Ratiy, and the writer and cultural expert Oleksandr Mykhed.
“Astra” – Oleksandr Mykhed‘s dynamic psychothriller which deals with the deepest fears of human consciousness. The whole world that you know and love – is just a convention. At the heart of the universe there’s a social treaty, which in reality is just a false non-aggression pact. The main character of the novel, a chancer Victor Varetskiy, receives an invitation to attend a seminar “Astra” in mysterious l Carpathians locality. The occasion, which changes his life.
The event will take place in frames of the exhibition “Resentment” that will last until February 28th.

“Anetta Publisher Antonenko” is founded by Annetta Antonenko, former co-founder and director of “Kalvaria” company which she permanently managed from 1995 to 2014. Among the iconic publications: Julio Cortazar “Outside of Time”, Alain Badiou “Century”, Octavio Paz “The Labyrinth of Solitude”, Horacio Quiroga “Jungle Tales”. Among other authors Lyubko Deresh, Eugenia Kononenko, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
