Shcherbenko Art Centre (SHCHAC) was founded in 2012 by gallery owner and  curator Marina Shcherbenko. It is based on Bottega Gallery (2008-2014).

The mission of SHCHAC is to create the opportunities for dialogue between the representatives of the contemporary art and the wider audience.

SHCHAC works as an experimental platform for “young art”, which is one of the key areas of the institution activities. In 2009 the competition MUHі (Young Ukrainian Painters) was founded. Nowadays it holds the leading position in its sphere.

Main activity of SHCHAC was aimed the development of modern Ukrainian art and raising the level of culture in the country through the implementation of cooperation projects of art with literature, music, architecture, product design, fashion industry, and others.

Among the artists who work with Art Centre are Tiberiy Szilvashi, Viktor Sydorenko, Olexander Roitburd, Volodymyr Budnikov, Valeriya Troubina, Olexander Babak, Anna Mironova, Vasyl Bazhay, Yaroslav Prysyazhnyuk, Alliance 22, Nazar Bilyk, Maria Kulikovska, Daniil Galkin, Anna Naduda, Beata Korn, Tenpoint group, Darya Koltsova, Roman Mikhailov and the others.

Personal and curatorial projects follow each other at the space Art Centre.

It’s important for us to inform people about all events of Ukrainian art life, discover for them new names of talented artists.
